Doctor and Medical Staff Registration

The Doctor and Medical Staff registration screen is organized in TABS:

  •      Personal and Professional Details
  •      Address
  •      Contact Details
  •      Notes
  •      Provider Numbers (Australia)
  •      Provider Numbers (New Zealand)
  •      Banking Details

The core information is Personal and Professional Details and Provider Numbers (Australia).

Other TABS are generally optional but may be required depending on your Practice.

Personal and Professional Details

Doctor Type

Set as Practice or External

Bank Flag

Check if Independently Invoicing

Vocationally Registered

Check if Vocationally Registered

Appointment Indicator

Check if Appointments can be made for this doctor/practitioner

Provider Details

Medicare Provider Numbers are Location Specific (Provider No. required for each Clinic)

Other Location Specific details: Tyro Terminal and Merchant ID's


For Independent Invoicing and Receipting, the Bank Flag (Personal TAB) must be checked and Banking Details entered.


If the Tyro MID and TID is set then these values will be used - otherwise payments will default to the Clinic/Division or Clinic account.
