Doctors Appointment Calendar

From the Appointments Menu - click on Doctors Appointment Calendar

Click onthe required timeslot. The selected timespan will be highlighted as shown.

You can easily adjust or modify the timeslots.

Release the mouse button – the New Appointment window will appear.

New Appointment details requires only basic information – name and procedure (as defined by your practice). There is no requirement to check Patient Registration at this time.

Check Patient Registration

You can check the patient registration or enter the patient registration details at this point if you choose.

To check the patient registration – click the button …

If the patient is already registered – click Return Selection – otherwise you can either create a new patient = or just close this window.

Enter new patient details and click Save. 

You also have the option of just providing basic information here, then modify and add information at a later time via the Patient Registration screen.

After confirming or adding the patient details, you are returned to the Appointment Details screen.

Now click Save to complete the appointment.

The appointment will bedisplayed on the calendar

Select the appointment (click anywhere on the appointment slot to highlight)

Move the cursor to the Start or End of the appointment slot.

The cursor will change to the double-ended arrow as shown.

Click/hold and drag to extend. Then release.

Click Validate

The appointment Calendar display is updated showing the new time slot for this patient.

Thisexample shows how to move an appointment with Drag and Drop

e.g. Move JONES appointment from Thursday at 2:30 to Wednesday at 2:00.

   Click and Hold on the appointment.

   Drag to new date/time slot

   Release

Click Validate

The appointmentCalendar display is updated showing the new time slot for this patient.
